Quite ripe blackcurrant and wild berry fruits on the nose with a hint of grassy herbs, medium to full-bodied black fruits balanced by dry-ish grip and length offered by underlying but not overpowering tannins. Drink with full flavour red meat dishes, barbecue or simply on its own.
